Каждое новое поколение получает «в наследство» культуру, созданную поколением предыдущим. И постепенно оно меняет ее облик, привносит что-то уникальное, характерное именно для этого периода времени. Так главной чертой, определившей культуру поколения Z, стал… абсурд.
Кто такие «зумеры»?
Generation Z (Так же Поколение Z, Зумеры, Зеты) — термин, применяемый в мире для обозначения людей, родившихся с 1995 по 2012 годы. Поколение Z — первое поколение, полностью родившееся во времена глобализации и постмодернизма. Если их родители вступили в эру информационных технологий в осмысленном возрасте, то Зумеры были рождены в ней. С малых лет они имели доступ к огромному количеству информации. Это стало и величайшим даром, и величайшим проклятием поколения.
И мёд, и дёготь
Информационная среда, в которой выросли Зумеры, во многом повлияла на облик поколения. Можно выделить следующие черты, характерные для Зетов:
- Заинтересованность в образовании. Зумеры очень хорошо понимают важность получения знаний и навыков. При этом представители поколения Z школам и университетам предпочитают онлайн-курсы или самоучители.
- Высокая социальная ответственность. Молодежь куда больше озабочена социальными и экологическими проблемами, чем их родители. Яркий пример — молодые активисты вроде Греты Тунберг.
- Толерантность. Зумеры считаются самым терпимым к чужой индивидуальности поколением из существующих.
- Стремление к независимости. Большинство подростков не хотят «работать на дядю» и стремятся сделать хобби источником своего дохода. Также им не по душе нормированный рабочий график, работа в офисе и дресс-коды.
- Креативность и эрудированность. Эти важные качества в Зумерах развились благодаря ведению личных соцсетей, большому количество информации для запоминания и необходимости ориентироваться в стремительно меняющейся повестке дня.
Смотря на этот список кажется, что Зумеры — лучшее, что когда либо случалось с обществом. Но увы, это не так. Щедро наградившее их информационное поле, в котором они выросли, взамен забрало нечто очень важное, а именно — ментальное здоровье.
Согласно данным Национального Института Психического Здоровья (США) в 2017 году суицид являлся второй по популярности причиной смертей американцев в возрасте от 10 до 34 лет. 37% процентов подростков (больше чем представителей любого другого поколения!) хоть раз получали профессиональную помощь касательно ментальных проблем.
В России же количество детских суицидов и попыток самоубийств за последние годы увеличилось на 35–37%. Это очень и очень тревожная статистика. И хотя Зумеры — самое толерантное и миролюбивое по своей природе поколение, нельзя не упомянуть и участившиеся случаи скулшутингов и скандалов с травлей. Так же тревожным знаком является и то, что в последние 10 лет значительно выросла популярность антистресс-игрушек (всем хорошо знакомых спиннеров, поп-итов и фиджет кубов).
«Так сладок мед, что, наконец, и гадок. Избыток вкуса отбивает вкус»
Это цитата из Шекспира полностью описывает сложившуюся ситуацию. Подростки сейчас окружены большим количеством контента чем нужно, и это изобилие во-первых обесценивает его, а во-вторых отражается на психологическом благополучии. В 2003 году в информатике появился термин «информационное загрязнение«, обозначающий заполнение информационных ресурсов противоречивой и малоценной информацией.
В сегодняшнем понимании информационное загрязнение – это поток хаотической и разрушительной информации, воздействующий на человека. Именно в условиях такого загрязнения и вынуждено жить нынешнее поколение. С понятием информационной загрязненности можно связать появление такой вещи как «баннерная слепота«. Это феномен, суть которого состоит в том, что пользователи на подсознательном уровне научились фильтровать поток входной информации и отсеивать ненужное.

Это все, конечно, интересно, но при чем тут абсурд? А вот при чем.
На фоне глобального информационного профицита и как следствие обесценивания информации начался неизбежный экзистенциальный кризис. Мозг, живущий в постоянном состоянии «информационного запоя» требует дальнейшей стимуляции. Но то, что он получает, уже не удовлетворяет его. При долгом принятии лекарств у организма вырабатывается толерантность, и эффективность препаратов снижается. И чтобы снова вернуть ее к нужному значению, нужно увеличить дозу принимаемых лекарств. Так и с контентом.
Абсурд — это культура возведенная в абсолют, ее максимальная дозировка. Отсутствие смысла, низкосортный юмор, специфическое визуальное и аудио оформление, гиперболизированные эмоции — все, что раньше вызывало отторжение и считалось недостойным внимания, теперь стало главным трендом. Все начало работать от обратного, и это возымело громадный успех среди молодого поколения.
Так же причиной популярности абсурда является его безопасность. Мы живем в очень тесном мире. И сейчас сложно сделать что-то, чтобы это не осталось незамеченным. Почти всегда найдется кто-то недовольный, от феминисток и различные меньшинств, до зоозащитников и приверженцев разных политических идеологий. Но кого может обидеть гавкошмыг? Никого. Такой юмор прост и нейтрален. Но что удивительно и немаловажно для культуры молодежи — он содержит в себе протест. Казалось бы, какой протест может быть в этой забавной собаке? А очень простой.
Как мы выяснили, большая проблема современной культуры — ее массовость. Но ведь отрицание общепринятого, стремление к уникальности — важный этап взросления. Как же достичь уникальности в мире, где уже все есть? Раньше протест выражался в субкультурах. Эмо, готы и панки повергали в культурный шок прохожих на улицах. Но теперь ты можешь быть почти любым и не встречать критики. Как тогда оставаться непонятым и загадочным? Ответ: работать от обратного. Человек всегда вкладывал в свои творения, будь то книга, фильм или идеология, особый смысл. Но так как все уже было создано и весь смысл уже где-то использовался, то чтобы создать что-то новое нужно… лишить это смысла.

Оба арт-объекта не обременены смыслом и существуют только потому, что их создателям так захотелось. В целом же пути формирования абсурда довольно шаблонны. Наглядно рассмотреть их можно на примере мемов. Мем — это единица значимой для общества информации. Мемом может быть любая идея, фраза, символ. Но чаще всего по этим понимается картинка юмористического содержания.
Первый и самый популярный способ — визуальное искажение. И чем оно больше — тем лучше. Юмор в таком случае заключается исключительно в нелепости изображаемого.
Второй способ более сложный и заключается в смысловом искажении. Суть состоит в том, чтобы максимально извратить содержание оригинального объекта, при этом сохранив его узнаваемость. Ярким примером такого юмора стали так называемые «волчьи мемы». Шутка в данном случае заключается в издевке над популярной в начале 2000 годов дворовой культурой, для которой были характерны «пацанские» цитаты, иллюстрируемые фотографиями волков.
Но самым интересным и сложным в создании является абсурд, который достигается путем переработки материала. Комический эффект в таком случае достигается путем объединения нескольких объектов в один конечный, максимально абстрактный и полный отсылок продукт.

Отдельно стоит отметить недавно появившийся формат творчества — Мэшап. Это неоригинальное музыкальное произведение, состоящее из нескольких оригинальных композиций. Что было бы, если бы Иван Дорн и Дора записали фит? Пофантазировать на эту темы позволяет формат мешапа. Для его создания используется та же формула, что и при создании юмора абсурда (объединение чего-либо уже существующего с целью получения нового). Мэшапом можно называть и фото/видеомонтаж. Такой тип творчества сполна раскрывает главную идею посткультуры — переработка и переосмысление уже созданного.

Зеты — это поколение, выросшее в условиях перенасыщения контентом. Это повлекло за собой изменения в их мировосприятии, причем как положительные, так и отрицательные. Креативность и ответственность, свойственные поколению Z, достались им в связке с эмоциональной неустойчивостью и сбитыми приоритетами. Зумерам недостаточно того, что они имеют, но лишенные возможности создать что-то по-настоящему новое они вынуждены лишь изменять существующее. Суть их культуры — это переосмысление прошлого и создание его интерпретаций. Яркий пример — анекдот про «мужика и шляпу». Он не содержит в себе юмора, а весь смысл заключается в том, что это шутка над самими шутками, пародия на культуру прошлого.
Для многих абсурд является не только средством развлечения, но и служит своеобразным щитом. Зачастую за насмешками кроется чувство тревожности, неудовлетворение собой, окружающими людьми, да и всем внешним миром, которые Зетам подарило агрессивное информационное поле. Зеты — совершенно точно способны на многое и определенно сделают планету и общество лучше. Но чтобы достичь этого, прежде всего им нужно найти место в уже существующем строе и обрести гармонию.
