Библия оказала большое влияние на развитие литературы. До конца I столетия многие люди стали сторонниками христианской веры, а во многих странах Европы появлялись христианские общины. Библия набирала популярность, она переводилась многими языками, а сюжеты из неё стали основанием многих произведений литературы. Какие же библейские мотивы встречаются в творениях русских писателей?
1. Василь Владимирович Быков «Сотников»
Одним из таких произведений является повесть В. Быкова «Сотников». Главная тема этого произведения-мученическая смерть одного из солдат и предательство его творища. Партизан Рыбак согласился расстрелять товарища Сотникова и других русских пленных. Герой предал родину и свои жизненные принципы. Подобно Иуде он преступил нравственный закон и тем самым отрезал себя от человеческого мира. В конце произведения Рыбак желает повеситься на ремне, но оставляет попытку.
B. Быков интерпретировал евгангельскую историю о распятии Иисуса Христа, который пожертвовал жизнью ради спасения миллионов людей: автор повести противопоставляет предателя Рыбака смелому Сотникову.
2. Иван Алексеевич Бунин «Господин из Сан-Франциско»
Все персонажи этого рассказа настолько сильно далеки от Бога, что И.А. Бунин хотел в начале произведения строчку из Апокалипсиса
(Откровения Иоанна Богослова): «Горе тебе, Вавилон, город крепкий!»- однако не реализовал эту идею. В религии Вавилон стал символом богатого и безнравственного города. Писатель называет корабль « Анлантида» и сопоставляется его с Вавилоном, показывая, что жажды власти и безнравственность погубят человечество
« Дьявол был громаден, как утес, но громаден был и корабль, многоярусный, многотрубный, созданный гордыней Нового Человека со старым сердцем.»
3. Фёдор Михайлович Достоевский «Братья Карамазовы»
Ф.М. Достоевский также обращается к Евангелию в своих романах. Автор рассказывает легенду о Фоме, который поверил в воскрешение Иисуса Христа только после того, как увидел это явление собственными глазами и положил пальцы на раны Иисуса Христа. Ф.М. Достоевский убеждает читателя, что не чудо вызывает веру, а вера творит чудо.
4. Aнтон Павлович Чехов «Студент»
Для многих людей сюжет этого произведения сложен и непонятен, поэтому его нужно подробно разобрать. Студень духовной академии Иван Великопольский пребывает в унынии, герой накануне Пасхи сомневается в гармонии природы и в жизни в целом. Герой решает пересказать двум женщинам эпизод из Евангелия про апостола Петра. Иисус сказал своему ученику: «Говорю тебе, Петр, не пропоет сегодня петел, то есть петух, как ты трижды отречешься, что не знаешь меня». Петр не поверил в слова учителя. Но в итоге действительно трижды отрекся от Иисуса Христа и зарыдал после того, как осознал правоту учителя. И Василису, и Лукерью история тронула в самое сердце, потому что и они совершали проступки.
5. Александр Сергеевич Пушкин «Станционный смотритель»
«Смиренная и опрятная обитель» Самсона Вырина украшена картинками по библейской притче о блудном сыне. украшает ряд картинок. Они изображали историю блудного сына. Их четыре: на первой «беспокойный юноша» спешит принять благословение и деньги от «почтенного старика в колпаке и шлафроке»; на второй гравюре юноша «сидит за столом, окружённый ложными друзьями и бесстыдными женщинами», на третьей – герой, потеряв друзей и деньги, пасёт свиней. Он раскаивается в содеянном. На последней картинке изображено возвращение блудного сына в отчий дом. Подобно блудному сыну Дуня оставляет отца ради лучшей совместной жизни с гусаром Минским. Самсон Вырин не находил себе места и со временем умер. А Дуня раскаялась, осознала ошибку, но было уже поздно.
