Его диагноз спинальная мышечная атрофия 2 типа (СМА). Это генетическое заболевание является частой причиной детской смертности, 50% больных не могут дожить и до двух лет. Чтобы спасти Илью, необходим препарат стоимостью 168 млн рублей.
Действие этого укола имеет одно важное условие — нужно успеть собрать количество денег до того момента, пока ребёнок не будет весить более 13,5 килограммов. В запасе у Ильи всего 150 грамм.
Продолжительное время цифры на счету были ровными и неизменными. Страшные мысли невольно приходили в голову родителей, но они не желали сдаваться. В них было что-то более сильное, чем страх. Это вера и надежда в лучшее будущее своего ребёнка.
Моргенштерна часто ассоциируют с дьяволом из-за татуировки в виде трёх шестёрок на лице и его образа жизни, но именно это число стало счастливым для семьи СМАйлика Илюши. Сначала Алишер перевёл миллион рублей на счёт мальчика, а позже 6 666 666 рублей.

Валя Карнавал, известная по своим видео в TikTok, записала историю, где говорит о том, что поддерживает челлендж Алишера и просит не оставаться равнодушными:
«Я за такой движ, ты красавчик, тоже участвую! Даже 6 рублей могут спасти жизнь ребёнку, так что решайте сами».
Есть и те, кто считают, что данный поступок блогеров способ «пропиариться» и притянуть к себе хорошее отношение аудитории, а кто-то думает, что благотворительность стала в моде из-за появления интернета и активной помощи звёзд. Вполне вероятно, что когда-то это станет традиционным явлением.
