Обучение за границей многим кажется несбыточной мечтой. Одни думают, что поступить в престижный университет в той же Европе невозможно, другие – берут и делают всё для этого. В чём же разница? А всё просто, на самом-то деле. Те, что стоят на месте и лишь грезят о современном заграничном образовании, не всегда владеют информацией о требованиях к поступлению и действующих льготах для иностранных студентов. Однако это можно и нужно исправлять как можно скорее, пока поезд не ушел.
Начать стоит с того, что получить частично или полностью бесплатное обучение можно либо с помощью гранта, то есть единовременной выплаты, покрывающей все расходы на обучение или большую их часть, либо стипендии, которая выплачивается ежемесячно. Их выдают как сами высшие учебные заведения, так и правительства, различные министерства, благотворительные фонды и даже коммерческие компании – источников финансирования очень много. Именно поэтому для получения гранта или стипендии вовсе не обязательно быть вундеркиндом, учёным или гением. Самым главным является поиск подходящих условий для получения финансирования, правильный сбор документов, знание иностранного языка и наличие хотя бы одной из следующих характеристик:
- Быть активным, перспективным человеком. Этого можно достичь не только с помощью врожденных способностей, но и благодаря старанию и упорству.
- Быть малоимущим (да-да, фонды, например, могут помогать малоимущим)
- Выбрать профессию, нужную для страны (как правило, для поддержания численности рабочей силы или её увеличения)
Итак, чтобы поступить в Европу или Америку, для начала необходимо сделать следующее:
- Выберите и просмотрите университет для поступления, изучите условия, которые он предлагает для учеников 10-11 класса российских школ.
- Углубитесь в изучение иностранного языка, который вам понадобится обучения за границей (во многих университетах/колледжах требуют знание английского языка на довольно высоком уровне – C1/C2)
- Пройдите международные языковые экзамены вроде IELTS, TOEFL, PTE, подготовьте сертификаты.
- Попросите нескольких своих преподавателей написать рекомендательные письма, которые представят вас в хорошем ключе, переведите их на английский.
- Подготовьте документы, в том числе визу, загранпаспорт. Их необходимо начать собирать не менее чем за полгода до начала обучения, поскольку пересылка бумаг, перевод и переговоры с приёмной комиссией университета занимают много времени.
Большинство российских абитуриентов не могут позволить себе в полной мере оплачивать обучение в других странах, поэтому стоит рассказать о некоторых популярных грантах, способных покрыть большую часть расходов
Fulbright, США
Эта программа существует более 50 лет и является одной из ведущих для иностранцев. Получение гранта позволяет учиться в США бесплатно 1-3 года (он покрывает обучение, стипендию, ограниченную медицинскую страховку и транспортные расходы) Основной источник финансирования – государственный департамент страны. Обучение происходит на английском языке.
Получить грант можно следующим образом:
- Конкурс, включающий в себя:
- Выбор программы.
- Отправление на адрес info@fulbright.ru регистрационной формы и сканированной копии согласия на обработку персональных данных. Оригинал документов предоставить по адресу Москва, ул. Тверская, дом 16, стр. 1, п/я 26.
- Отслеживание статуса заявки по индивидуальной ссылке.
- Отправка сканированных копий трёх рекомендательных писем на английском языке на специальных бланках программы.
- Сдача TOEFL (его оплачивает американская сторона)
- Сдача GRE (для аспирантов)
- Интервью на английском языке.
- Распределение финалистов по университетам США комиссией программы.
Global Korea Scholarship, Южная Корея
Правительственная стипендия для бакалавров, аспирантов и магистров корейских вузов. Обучение проходит на английском и корейском языках, срок подачи заявок в бакалавриат – сентябрь, в магистратуру – февраль. Получение гранта способно покрыть следующие расходы: обучение, транспорт, ограниченную медицинскую страховку, стипендию.
Подача заявки на грант:
- Онлайн-заявление на сайте стипендии.
- Пакет документов.
- Собеседование.
Erasmus Mundus, Евросоюз
Это некоммерческая программа ЕС, предоставляющая возможность обучения в университетах Европы по программам бакалавра, магистратуры, стажировки. Язык обучения зависит от выбранной страны, к требованиям относятся два года образования в вузе России, высокая академическая успеваемость, хороший уровень владения языком. С помощью получения гранта покрываются все расходы на обучение как Евросоюзом, так и российским университетом, а также проживание и выплата стипендии.
Образование за рубежом не ограничивается Европой и Америкой: есть и другие страны, обучение в которых проходит на достаточно высоком уровне и вполне доступно для иностранцев. Довольно популярными государствами для абитуриентов из России являются Польша, Чехия и Финляндия.
Поступить в Финляндию на бесплатное обучение возможно: однако важно владеть финским языком на хорошем уровне. С его знанием появляется возможность пройти на любую программу, предусматривающую бюджетные места. Конечно же, обойтись без вступительных экзаменов не получится: у каждого вуза они свои, как и материалы для подготовки, о чем стоит поинтересоваться заранее. Но есть и один большой, весомый подводный камень: на счету студента должно быть 6720 евро ежегодно, перед получением нового вида на жительство. Помимо этого, будут и другие расходы вроде оплаты жилья, коммунальных платежей, транспорта, продуктов питания, стоимость которых довольно высока из-за курса валют. Но их можно покрыть с помощью различных подработок: финские студенты часто идут работать в уборку, доставку газет, занимаются фрилансом.
Обучение в Чехии достаточно популярно для иностранных абитуриентов. Есть два наиболее доступных варианта для поступления:
- Языковые курсы, которые проводятся в самой Чехии. Как правило, они помогают не только с изучением языка, но и с подачей документов, подтверждением аттестата и прочим. По окончании обучения на курсе нужно сдавать экзамен на знание чешского. Следующий этап – вступительные испытания, но они предусмотрены не во всех университетах.
- При отсутствии возможности жить в Чехии достаточно долгий период, можно заниматься поступлением из России. Для этого нужно подтвердить знание чешского, пройдя официальный, сертифицированный тест, подать заявления на сайте вузов/отправить письма в сами университеты. Однако в Чехию-таки съездить придётся как минимум для подтверждения своего аттестата, а это крайне долгий и сложный процесс.
В Польшу из представленных выше стран поступить проще всего, поскольку польский язык легче учится. Именно на нём можно обучаться бесплатно: при поступлении требуется сдать местный экзамен на уровень B2, либо же, при наличии возможностей, пройти платные языковые курсы польского при вузе перед началом обучения, которые длятся год. Важно сказать, что Польша является членом Евросоюза с 2004 года, поэтому все учебные заведения выдают дипломы международного образца, а значит, появляется возможность стать реально нужным, востребованным специалистом, который сможет устроиться во многих странах мира.
Существует также и множество других грантов, стипендий и возможностей поступить на бюджет за рубеж, информацию о которых можно найти в интернете. Для получения любого из них требуется приложить усилия, найти время и деньги. Да, это сложно и муторно; да, хочется всё бросить и поступить в университет какой-нибудь условной Рязани, получив образование в котором сложно устроиться на работу не только в своем городе, но и стране в целом.
