Зеркало. Оно многих повергает в ужас. Вспомните, с какими ощущениями вы подходите к этой отражающей поверхности. Страх?! Беспокойство или принятие?! Восторг или разочарование?!.. Столько смешанных эмоций, но почему же? Почему?..

Проект «Леди Mail.Ru» провёл опрос среди 12 тысяч россиян, посвящённый отношению к собственной внешности. Выяснилось, что большинство опрошенных недовольны своим внешним видом: 70% женщин и 63% мужчин стесняются своего облика, и лишь 7% женщин и 13% мужчин убеждены, что они красивы.

Хочу заметить, что тенденция непринятия своей естественной красоты наблюдается не только в России.

Так, например, в Южной Корее всё большую популярность набирает так называемая «кукольная внешность». Это идеальное лицо без изъянов, кожа которого по новым стандартам должна быть фарфоровой и матовой, губы пухлыми, ресницы длинными, а глаза выразительными.

Сейчас такой эталон внешности активно используется в музыкальной индустрии — k-pop культуре.

K-pop — музыкальный жанр, возникший в Южной Корее и вобравший в себя элементы западного электропопа, хип-хопа, танцевальной музыки и современного ритм-н-блюза.

Парни и девушки с идеально чистой и даже блестящей кожей (такое разве возможно?!) становятся кумирами молодёжи.

Да, многие из этих групп поют о том, что нужно добиваться своих целей, не сдаваться, не слушать окружающих и принимать себя таким, какой ты есть. НО! Их слова не совпадают с тем, как они выглядят.

Члены бойз- и гёрлз-бендов постоянно красят волосы в неестественные цвета, наносят огромные слои косметики, вешают на себя различную бижутерию (иногда чересчур много).

Да, я понимаю, они медийные личности, и весь этот грим наносится для создания определённого образа, но тогда не следует исполнять подобные песни или же, наоборот, стоит использовать более естественный макияж и краску для волос, чтобы соответствовать тому, что они пропагандируют — естественную красоту.

Фанаты K-pop встанут на защиту своих кумиров и скажут: «Это же их культура!» КУЛЬТУРА?! Это ещё больше пугает, потому что в таком случае общество ценит искусственную красоту.

Почему же так происходит?

В последнее время всё чаще в магазинах косметики я замечаю корейскую продукцию. Одни считают её эффективной и пользуются исключительно ей, другие скептически относятся к этому.

Кто бы что ни говорил, но становится очевидным, что корейская косметика — это уже целый бренд, который хорошо продаётся.

Действительно, как просто оказывается указать человеку на его недостатки и предложить чудодейственное средство, которое буквально за одно применение убирает все несовершенства.

Ещё лучше продаётся косметика, выпускаемая «звездой». Да, она дорогая, но фанатам это неважно, потому что им нравится сама мысль о том, что они будут пользоваться продукцией, лицом и создателем которой является их кумир.

Конечно, есть и такие поклонники, которые покупают косметику, но не пользуются ей, просто коллекционируя, как почтовые марки, к примеру. Я считаю, что это отличный маркетинговый ход: предложи фанатам того или иного артиста продукцию с их кумиром, которая хоть чуть-чуть сближает с ним, и они всё раскупят моментально.

Как в таком случае оставаться собой и не гнаться за мировыми стандартами красоты?

Во-первых, нужно поменьше сидеть в социальных сетях, а в особенности в Инстаграме. Представьте: вы пролистываете новостную ленту, просматриваете идеальные фотографии знаменитостей или же своих одноклассниц в Инстаграме и с грустью осознаёте, что ваша внешность далека от того, что вы видите на безупречных фотографиях. Дальше вы начинаете копаться в себе, искать недостатки…

ХВАТИТ! Пожалуйста, не нужно заниматься необоснованной самокритикой, потому что большинство фотографий, попадающих на страницы социальных сетей подвергаются основательной ретуши. Об этом следует помнить!

Во-вторых, поверьте, что вы красивы. «Легко сказать», — подумают многие, но я отвечу, что это легко не только сказать, но и сделать. Небольшой советик: каждый день, сразу как проснётесь, подходите к зеркалу и говорите следующее: «Я красивая(ый). У меня идеальная внешность. Я себе нравлюсь». Это действительно работает (проверено на себе). :)

Полюбите каждую клеточку своего тела!

В-третьих, не парьтесь. Я серьёзно! Отпустите ситуацию, не думайте о том, что кто-то выглядит красивее вас. Просто живите, радуйтесь жизни и той природной красоте, которая вокруг и внутри вас.

Мы гонимся за стандартами красоты в попытках найти средство, делающее кожу идеально чистой (по секрету: его не существует), и в этой спешке убиваем свою естественность. Может, стоит остановиться и присмотреться к тому, что спрятано под слоем макияжа?

Да, идеальных людей не бывает, но есть красивые души, и если найти гармонию с собой, то внутренняя красота отразится на всём теле. Поверьте, только тогда вы начнёте нравится себе и другим, когда поймёте, что ваша внешность — это «зеркало вашей души».
