Современные фотографы (или люди, у которых просто есть смартфон или старенький «Зенит» с пленкой) вдохновляются этим временем в нашу суровую эпоху мета модернизма.

Многие задаются вопросом – почему это происходит? Ведь мы наблюдаем «возвращение» эпохи перестройки не только на фотографиях, но и на внешности людей, в их привычках, объемных прическах, полосатых свитерах…
«Наверное, кто-то решил себя проявить и попробовать что-то нестандартное, и это понравилось людям. А так я к этому хорошо отношусь! » — говорит мой приятель. Я считаю, что как раз-таки нестандартное всегда было искусством.
Многие критикуют хрущевки за тесноту комнат, отвратительный внешний вид, а самое главное – за однообразие. В фильме «Ирония судьбы, или с легким паром» через всю кинокартину прослеживается анекдот про эти «типовые постройки»:
«Теперь чуть ли не в любом советском городе есть свои «черёмушки»… Человек попадает в любой незнакомый город и чувствует себя в нем как дома… Типовые лестничные клетки окрашены в типовой приятный цвет, типовые квартиры обставлены стандартной мебелью»— так начинается фильм Эльдара Рязанова.

Сейчас, наблюдая за быстроразвивающимся строительством «человейников» — огромнейших стеклянных домов, которые разворачиваются на пустырях за городом, многие задумываются – «А, может, раньше было лучше?».
Как бы то ни было, хрущевки, как и все остальное, связанное с 80-ми – культовый символ, некий апофеоз перестроечной эпохи, которая сейчас в «моде».
Я считаю, что это не просто ностальгия. Это усталость от современных стеклянных человейников, это поиск себя уже повзрослевшей молодежи, это вдохновение эстетикой прошлого и создание нашей новой культуры.

Нашими кумирами стали Виктор Цой и Сергей Бодров (как несколько лет назад у наших родителей), мы снова стали любить печатные книги и кассеты, езду на стареньких троллейбусах и посиделки на кухне – все это отлично передает современное андеграундное искусство фотографии. Я пишу «андеграундное», потому что в основном такие снимки делают фотографы-любители. Конечно, их работы не разбираются на выставках, на их аппаратах не очень правильно настроена экспозиция, да и, может быть, «качество – отстой», но все-таки андеграунд – это не только бедно, но и очень романтично.
