Матери жалуются на то, что их дети ничего не делают, а целый день играют в игры. Дальше хуже. Репортажи «подросток из Челябинской области зарезал собственную мать» по России 1 из-за игры Worl of Warcraft. Ролик с названием «Почему умирают дети – геймеры». Ярко видно, что общественность настроена против этой субкультуры. Но так ли она плоха?
Исторический триумф
Громко гремела новость о победе российской команды «Team Spirit» в чемпионате мира по Dota 2 в 2021 году. Освещали это событие по всем каналам, даже сам президент говорил поздравление ребятам. Неожиданно, быть геймером стало почетно и не зазорно, а победители давали интервью и освещали, как вести такой образ жизни. Один из участников команды, Miposhka, признается: «Мы не привыкли к такой публичности… Это отличная возможность показать всем, кто не считает киберспорт чем-то серьезным, что на самом деле это огромная и очень интересная сфера деятельности». Может настало время перемен?
А как геймеру зарабатывать?
Часто звучит вопрос. Стоит начинать с простого: завести канал на YouTube с монетизацией или на стриминговых сервисах, как Twitch, где люди могут кидать донаты.
