Компьютерные игры: плюсы и минусы

Мы живем в век цифровых технологий, в который компьютерные игры заняли одно из главных мест. Почти каждый из нас, так или иначе, играл в игры на телефоне, компьютере или игровой приставке. Выбор платформ неуклонно увеличивается, качество игр стремительно улучшается, а растущая аудитория геймеров (от англ.- «game»- игра), которая приняла и интегрировала игры в свою повседневную жизнь, достигла наивысшей точки и все еще продолжает расти. Во многом игровая индустрия развивается, благодаря киберспорту. Многие проекты, такие как Fortnite или Genshin Impact, доступны на многих платформах и не требуют обязательного вложения реальных средств.

С постоянным ростом игроков, появляются вопросы: «Влияют ли игры на психику? Наносят ли они вред здоровью?».

Каждый играющий подросток, наверняка, слышал от родителей: «Не играй слишком долго, испортишь зрение, испортишь психику». Конечно, если слишком много проводить времени за компьютером и другим электронным девайсом зрение портиться. С процветанием киберспорта стали появляться мониторы, не наносящие вреда для зрения, но и стоят они соответствующе дорого. Не стоит забывать и про физическое здоровье, ведь если просиживать за компьютером целые дни, это может привести ко многим болезням из-за малоподвижного образа жизни.

           Вот что об этом думает профессор психологии Шон Грин из Висконсинского университета в Мадисоне:

 «Видеоигры — это очень широкая категория. Влияние игры зависит от того, какие задачи задействованы в ней. Поэтому разные проекты по-разному влияют на мозг. Вы не стали бы спрашивать «как еда влияет на ваше тело», вам нужно знать ее состав. То же самое и с видеоиграми: механика, динамика и содержание отдельных игр являются предикторами того, как они по-своему влияют на мозг».

У игр есть множество жанров и каждый может развить различные качества. Так, например, Counter Strike-Global Offensive развивает реакцию, нужно уметь быстро реагировать, принимать решения за доли секунды, нужно уметь работать в команде, чтобы достичь победы. Игры в жанре аркады развивают логику, тренируют внимание. Стратегии учат продумывать те или иные операции на несколько ходов вперёд, а квесты тренируют память. С помощью игры можно изучать языки. Для этого существуют как отдельные игры, направленные на это, так и абсолютно любая игра любого жанра, в которой можно настроить язык игры. В командных онлайн играх с внутренним голосовым чатом можно встретить игроков из других стран, соответственно практиковать свой разговорный уровень иностранного языка.

Но взглянем с точки зрения психологии, ведь каждый родитель прежде всего обращает внимание на то, что игры портят психику. Но так ли это? Конечно, если у ребенка нет других занятий, кроме игр и он проводит все свое свободное время в компьютере или за игровой приставкой, то вырабатывается зависимость. Как только у ребенка насильно отбирают компьютер, он становится нервным из-за начинающейся «ломки». В данном случае игры действуют, как наркотик. Если же ребенок заходит в игры, чтобы отдохнуть, пообщаться с друзьями из других городов, чувствуя разумные рамки времяпрепровождения, то вряд ли это как-то влияет на психику. Но это лишь мое мнение. Я решила узнать у психолога, влияют ли игры на психику, в зависимости от условий.

Влияют ли игры на психику, несмотря на жанр?

— Начнем с того, что все должно быть в разумных пределах. Конечно, если игры развивающие, стратегии, логические, то вряд ли они могут сильно влиять на психику. Если в играх демонстрируется насилие, и если не ограничивать ребенка этими играми, а лучше не давать играть в такие игры, то это может серьезно отразиться на психике.

Понятно, что если есть зависимость, то это отражается на психике. Но если разумно проводить время за играми, может ли это влиять на психику?

— Как я уже говорила, если это какие-то развивающие игры, направленные на развитие мышления, логики и так далее, и если они даются ребенку в ограниченном количестве, то вряд ли это повлияет.

Как бороться с игровой зависимостью?

— Начнем с того, что у такой зависимости есть два вида: первый – ребенок, да и взрослый, проводят за компьютером больше положенного времени, но при этом они не забывают о других увлечениях, учебе и так далее; второй – когда ребенок или взрослый проводят все свободное время за компьютером. И если в первом случае может помочь ограничение во времени, то при втором стоит обратиться к психологу или психотерапевту.

Можно ли по играм, которые выбирает человек, что-то о нем сказать?

— Только по играм – нет. Они могут служить дополнением к образу человека.

Если правильно управлять времяпрепровождением за компьютером, не забывать о других важных вещах, выбирать правильные игры можно избежать большого вреда для здоровья.
