Дистанционное обучение в 2020 году впервые стало массовым и вынужденным явлением. Весной школы и ВУЗы уже переходили в онлайн-среду. С сентября все учреждения общего образования вернулись к привычным офлайновым занятиям, а вот некоторые университеты продолжают учиться на дистанте. Как проходят онлайн-лекции? Насколько удобно обучение «на дому»? И правильно ли это: дистанционно получать высшее образование? Погружают в вузовский онлайн и отвечают на все вопросы студент и преподаватель нескольких дисциплин ТИ НИЯУ МИФИ г. Лесного – Егор Панкратов и Ольга Геннадьевна Афанасьева.
Онлайнизирует Егор
Квартира студента. Егор ждёт начало лекции по физике. На компьютерном столе тетрадь, ручка, телефон с трансляцией занятий и кружка чая. Сейчас 8:55, а второкурсник уже трёт веки: глаза напряжены после второй недели дистанта, к тому же не выспался.
В 9:00 запищали электронные часы, на дистанционном обучении для Егора они объявляют начало пар, а не преподаватель.
Первые минуты лекции, как и всегда – перекличка. Только теперь не все однокурсники слышат отчётливые голоса друг друга: те, кто на «дистанционке», пытаются уловить частично заедающие звуки из смартфона. Егор тоже говорит в динамик: он включает микрофон телефона и до профессора доносится: «Панкратов здесь».
После проверки присутствующих преподаватель просит офлайн-студента разобрать домашнее задание у доски. Онлайн-второкурсники за день до пары отправили фото своих ДЗ и получили ответ: «Хорошо, зачтено».
«Запишите сегодняшнюю тему «Расчёт электростатических полей», – велит Александр Николаевич. Он объясняет, а презентация наглядно отображает его слова. Увлекаясь своим рассказом, профессор будто забывает про студентов: меняет слайды скорее и скорее.
– Не ориентируется на нас, поэтому мы быстрее пишем, уже не слушая Александра Николаевича. Даже так не всегда успеваем, просим: «Подождите», – он всё равно переключает. Хотя бывает, спросит: «Всё записали?» А кто-то из преподавателей, вообще, в конце пары 5 минут уделял тому, чтобы проверить что написали. И всё. Никто ничего [из материала] не понимает, – говорит Егор.
– Педагог «забывает» про вас, потому что вживую видит меньше половины группы. Какие ещё есть минусы онлайн-обучения?
– Один раз студенты на дистанте вылетели из системы, с ней какой-то трабл произошёл. Ребята пишут в общую беседу: «Что делать? Не слышим, не видим ничего, всё исчезло». Александр Николаевич говорит: «Ладно, потом конспект им скину».
– Что с ответами на парах? Спрашивают тех, кто на дистанте?
– Плоховато. Преподаватель должен и с очниками, и с дистанционными работать, а разорваться невозможно. Только распыляются, сложно им.
Александр Николаевич уже не просто объясняет материал, он хочет показать его у доски. «Для того чтобы вычислить напряжённость электрического поля по системе зарядов…» — говорит преподаватель, медленно вставая. Он уже заботливее относится к студентам, видимо, хочет, чтобы на этот раз они успели записать.
«Перерисовали да? Смотрите, в точке «А» …» – поясняет Александр Николаевич, водя указкой по только что начерченной схеме.
«Ага, и доску не видно. А показывает же что-то», – комментирует Егор, не удивляясь такому исходу: не в первый раз.
В экране смартфона спина профессора и верхние углы классной доски, где в школе учителя указывали дату. В ВУЗе там нет ни месяца, ни года – ничего. Только пустые зелёные углы. Создаётся ощущение одиночества, и без того не покидающего комнату, в которой слышишь единственный голос: свой.
Становится грустно, а надо вообще-то заниматься физикой, перерисовывать график с доски!
– Будто нас [онлайн-студентов] нет! – возмущается второкурсник, беседуя с самим собой.
– Александр Николаевич, пожалуйста, переместите камеру, мы не видим Ваш рисунок, – просит Егор уже преподавателя.
У кого-то звенит будильник. Оказывается, у профессора. Рингтон заменяет звонок с лекции. «Отдыхаем 5 минут», – говорит Александр Николаевич.
Егор пьёт чай и разворачивает конфету.
– Будешь? – предлагает он мне «Бабаевскую».
Я мотаю головой и благодарю с улыбкой.
– Чем ты занимаешься в перерывах между дистанционными парами? – спрашиваю я.
– Ничем. Отдыхаю, лежу, пью чай.
– То есть учится дома удобно?
– Не всегда. Часто случаются всякие заминки [в системе онлайн-обучения]. Преподаватели быстрее переключают слайды, потому что не видят нас, задания теряются. Много разных моментов. А когда в аудитории с человеком общаешься – проще: и он тебя видит, и ты всегда с лёгкостью можешь задать ему вопрос. На дистанте же думаешь: «Ну, поспать можно…»
– Вот и удобство…
– Какое удобство-то? Надо работать или отдыхать, а не всё вместе делать. Когда надо писать – ты спишь.
– То есть на дистанте студенты в основном филонят?
– Ну да. Если только преподаватели не заставляют писать и не ставят двойки за отсутствие конспекта. А ещё телефон/компьютер «высаживает» тебя. Одну пару отсижу – хочется полежать: электроника забирает энергию. На дистанте у меня начали уставать спина и шея.
– Как ты отреагировал, когда узнал о продолжении дистанта в сентябре?
– Подумал: «Ну, опять дистант, ладно. Уже не первый раз, он уже часть жизни».
– Кого в онлайновом режиме работы тебе больше жаль: студентов или профессоров?
– И тех, и других одинаково. В онлайне студенты не усваивают материал до конца. В самом вузе я могу спросить у преподавателя какая [на доске/слайде написана] буква, где стоит запятая. А на «дистанционке» – нет. Это неполное качество обучения, понятно, что программу урезают. Плюс камеру нужно всегда перенаправлять, вертеть по всей доске, чтобы что-то разобрать. Нет такой аудитории, в которой всё заточено под дистант. Преподавателей жалко тоже: устают они больше в два раза. Им нужно проверять тетради у очников, потом – у «онлайников». Как смотреть задания, отправленные фотографиями. А если подчерк неразборчивый? Когда перед глазами работа студента, можно понять, что написано, а через смартфоны сложнее. Плюс некоторые преподаватели не знакомы с интернет-платформами и мессенджерами, кто-то недавно узнал, что такое «WhatsApp».
– Зато они узнают о современных технологиях. Может, эти навыки им пригодятся, ведь складывается такая ситуация, что скоро все перейдут в онлайн. Будем на дому и учиться, и работать.
– На дистанте появляется возможность халявить. Да и потом, как практиковаться, сидя дома, не погружаясь в среду?
– Так, всё-таки дистант – отдых или работа?
– Когда у тебя есть выбор между тем, чтобы лечь, отдохнуть и ничего не делать или сидеть до конца, слушая лекции – выберешь отдохнуть. Очно так не получится, в вузе будешь работать, там есть стимул и мотивация – не остаться «последним», не получить двойку. Дома же точно никто не знает, чем ты занимался. Можешь лежать на лекциях, списывать на контрольных. Не знаю кем надо быть, чтобы не списать на дистанте. Поэтому дистант – отдых. Первую пару поработаешь, а потом уже думаешь: «Ладно, это мне не особо и надо». А оказывается, что надо.
Вообще, вторая лекция Александра Николаевича уже началась как пять минут назад. Отвлекаю я Егора, если бы не дистант, меня бы здесь не было и, думаю, второкурсник разобрался бы в «Расчёте электростатических полей» лучше. Хотя, наверное, Егор и без пятиминутной задержки, случившейся из-за моих расспросов, всё понял: до конца физики он внимательно слушал преподавателя и конспектировал материал.
Прозвенел будильник с лекции.
– Егор, помоги открыть банку с огурцами, – кричит из кухни мама студента.
Онлайн-вышка по-преподавательски
Пустая аудитория: один человек на 15 парт и 29 стульев. Ольга Геннадьевна Афанасьева – преподаватель организации машпроизводства достаёт тонкую папку с материалами лекций. Раньше она складывала на стол 22 проверенные тетради студентов. Теперь письменных работ молодых людей нет даже на соседнем столике. Жаль его: стоит без дела.
Слышно тишину, даже стрелки часов затихли. Странные ощущения: нестройные условия для аудитории, в которой парты и стулья всегда сотрудничали со студентами.
Доска изумрудно-чистая. Откуда взяться меловым разводам?
Жалюзи закрыты, хотя темновато. Ну, а для кого нужен свет?
– Ольга Геннадьевна, Вы чувствуете себя одиноко в аудитории без студентов?
– Нисколько, потому что [в офлайне] плохая дисциплина. Студенты неуважительно относятся к преподавателям. Раньше мы часто тратили время на то чтобы их обуздать. А когда студентов нет в аудитории – никто не мешает читать лекцию, я концентрируюсь. Дома же они сами решают: хотят – слушают, не хотят – лежат на диване. Нужно понимать: результат от этого обучения будет не такой, как на очных парах. Но есть способные студенты, которые не противодействуют, а взаимодействуют с тобой. С ними я замечательно себя чувствую. Такая работа дорога. По таким занятиям я скучаю.
Через 5 минут начнётся лекция. Студенты уже атакуют «WhatsApp» Ольги Геннадьевны, прося ссылку на занятие.
Тут зашёл какой-то молодой человек. Он неуверенно направляется к компьютеру, спрашивает:
– Чем Вам помочь?
– Просто подключите меня к системе, – отвечает Ольга Геннадьевна.
– Вы не разобрались в платформе онлайн-связи? – интересуюсь я.
– Не до конца, поэтому помогают сотрудники компьютерного отдела. И, вообще, не всё складно с компьютерным обучением: интернет работает не всегда стабильно, часто прерывается связь.
Лекция по организации машпроизводства идёт: связь не прерывается. Преподаватель рассказывает материал компьютеру. В аудитории один живой голос. Остальные 22 голоса – иконки на экране, не подающие сигналов жизни.
Кто-то кроме Ольги Геннадьевны заговорил. Это Кирилл Фуворов напомнил о перерыве.
– Как Вы рассказываете материал, когда видите не глаза студентов, а иконки на экране компьютера? – спрашиваю я.
– Мне главное выдать своё. Когда смотришь в чужие глаза, ещё неизвестно что в них найдёшь. А на очных занятиях часто идёт борьба: преподаватель хочет выдать материал, а ему мешают. И, вообще, мы в голову вкладываем, а не в глаза. Мы работаем словом, а глаза уже потом, – отвечает Ольга Геннадьевна.
– Образование направлено не только на слово: получение знаний, но и на воспитание человека, формирование личности. Как можно это делать на дистанте?
– Онлайн-обучение нисколько не мешает воспитывать.
– Но ведь нет контроля, – спорю я.
– Если у преподавателя есть авторитет, воспитание будет идти. Если нет – сложнее, значит, нужно создавать этот авторитет, – продолжает преподаватель.
– Формирование авторитета – длительный процесс, особенно, если педагог недавно начал преподавать. А какие есть ещё «минусы» дистанта кроме этого?
– Нет контроля [за студентами]. Хотя в аудитории он себя ведёт и невоспитанно, зато я точно знаю, что он был на моей паре, до конца прослушал лекцию. Дома он, может, выключил камеру и ушёл чай пить. Ещё один «минус» – практика. Её в онлайне мы не научились делать. На дистанте только лекции, даже практические работы – не так просто.
– А какие «плюсы» у онлайна?
– Мы чувствуем себя на современном уровне. Вот у тебя в руках гаджет, ты смотришь на монитор, всего лишь нажал кнопку, а поменялось направление информации. Ощущаем дыхание современности. Возможности у дистанционного обучение огромные, просто не все преподаватели готовы к нему. Мы всю жизнь работали в одном формате, а теперь в совершенно другом, новом. Нам нужно перестраивать подачу материала, отношение к занятиям, иначе планировать время.
– Разве чувство современности приоритетнее качества образования, ведь на онлайне у студентов пробелы в знаниях?
– А у нас нет выбора. Пока мы вынуждены учится так, менять свои материалы под дистанционную форму обучения. И я не отказываюсь от этого, я готова. Онлайн-режим меня не смущает. Если это случилось, значит это должно было случится. Это неотвратимо.
– То есть дистант – развитие, не деградация?
– Это не деградация, это другая форма, ветвь. Мы шли по одному направлению, потом повернули в другую сторону. Но всё равно двигаемся вверх. Время пришло. Жизнь столкнула: ты и монитор. Это проверка на то, готов ли ты, сможешь ли себя мобилизовать для новой работы или нет? В какой-то степени теперь каждый отвечает сам за себя.
