Автомобильная журналистика в России умирает? Или же, наоборот, только начинает своё развитие? Разберёмся!
Для начала поговорим о том, в чём заключается данная отрасль и как она возникла. Главная цель автожурналистики — освещать автомобильный рынок, прежде всего — рынок легковых автомобилей, который на данный момент в нашей стране не так бурно развивается, как хотелось бы, и российские марки не могут сравниться с немецкими или японскими. Автожурналистика началась с прессы, а точнее, журнала «Автомобильный транспорт», который увидел свет в 1923 году и выпускается по сей день. Ни о каком ГАЗе, АВТОВАЗе, МОСКВИЧе тогда и речи идти не могло, но автомобильная пресса делала первые и уже довольно уверенные шаги. То есть, автожурналистика может существовать отдельно от производства автомобилей. Более того, довольно успешно.
Стоит заметить, что в СССР любовь к автомобилям была в большой степени платонической: до Великой отечественной войны легковые машины не продавались гражданам, а с начала войны и вовсе были изъяты. Автомобилем могли наградить за заслуги, его можно было выиграть в лотереи, но не купить. Однако в 1928 стремительно набирал популярность нынешний лидер сегмента прессы — «За рулем». Автомобильная журналистика стремительно развивалась несмотря на то, что продажа автомобилей в частные руки начала производиться лишь в 50-х годах, а устойчивый потребительский идеал «квартира + дача + машина» сформировался только в 70-80-х.
По статистике данной редакцией «За рулем» в то время каждый третий владелец авто приобретал это издание. Сейчас журнал оказывается в руках лишь каждого восьмого. Но это не значит, что потребность населения в автомобильной журналистике хоть немного сократилась. В прошлом печатные издания перебрались в интернет. К ним также добавились и новые, среди которых: «АвтоВзгляд», «Колёса», «Драйв», «5Колесо» и многие другие. Рынок автомобильной печатной прессы на сегодняший день насчитывает около 400 изданий.
Доля иномарок в нашей стране стремительно растёт, но большая часть рынка всё же занята отечественными автомобилями (хоть и с минимальным отрывом). Менталитет «владельцев жигулей» среди покупателей преобладает, но надолго ли это? Сказывается ли большое количество иномарках на дорогах нашей страны на отечественной журналистике? Конечно, российские издания также конкурируют с лицензионными, но более успешно, чем производители автомобилей. Единственным зарубежным журналом, добившимся, хоть и небольшого, но всё же успеха, остаётся «TOPGEAR» (к слову, в других сегментах прессы зарубежные издания лидируют с большим отрывом). То есть, отечественная автомобильная журналистика может не бояться конкуренции. Она обладает автономностью, что обеспечивает её способность подстраиваться под предложение автомобилей и сопутствующих товаров на рынке, не зависимо от марки или страны производства.
Однако всё еще существует мнение, что журналистика в России умирает вместе с авторынком. Люди научились выбирать машины без посторонних подсказок. Каждый уважающий себя мужчина вполне знаком с критериями хорошей автомобиля. А ценность и достоверность мнения автожурналистов, которое не особо волнует людей, вызывает сомнения.
Но почему же тогда желающих посвятить жизнь именно этому направлению журналистики так много? На это есть свои причины. Во-первых, люди данной профессии получают доступ ко всему многообразию автомобильного мира и имеют возможность ездить на чём угодно: от отечественной «копейки» до Toyota Celsior или Ferrari 458. К тому же, журналисты частенько тестируют машины ещё до официального старта продаж. Промчаться по проспекту на совершенно новой модели кроссовера Mercedes-Benz GLA, получив бесценный опыт вождения? Или же встать в три утра в выходной день, чтобы пролететь всю Европу с несколькими пересадками ради 200 км на машине, которая даже не будет продаваться в России, а спустя неделю узнать, что и марка покидает нашу страну? Проехать по одной трассе с Даниилом Квятом или Максом Ферстаппеном, попробовав себя в автоспорте? Проще говоря: добро пожаловать в автомобильную журналистику!
У блогеров дела обстоят лучше. Здесь и русский лоурайдер Том Хэнсон со своими «Волгами», и Константин Заруцкий, публикующийся в сети под ником AcademeG. Но опять же, не густо…
Автожурналист или автоблогер — сложная и «несвободная» профессия. Писать статьи о новых автомобилях или делать на них обзоры — тоже самое, что ходить по лезвию ножа. Можно с лёгкостью лишиться рекламных доходов, написав «что-то не то». Поэтому рисковать и терять место в редакции никто не хочет.
Сказать, что автомобильная журналистика в России умирает будет не верно. Она попросту ещё не родилась.
