Эко-френдли (eco-friendly) в переводе с английского означает «безопасный для экологии». Данный термин относится к товарам и услугам, которые наносят минимальный вред на экосистемы и окружающую среду.
В конце своей прошлой статьи я поставила перед собой цель: 10 дней придерживаться главного правила Zero waste — оставлять после себя только органический мусор.
Как же мне это далось? Скажу честно, было не просто. Как только я поняла истину, которая всё это время была у меня перед глазами, юношеский максимализм не оставлял меня в покое. Хотелось, чтобы каждый непросвещенный узнал, что мы делаем с планетой, что нас всех ждет в ближайшее будущее. Однако реальность заключается в том, что людям тяжело принять не только перемены, но и любые отличия друг от друга в той или иной сфере. Все вокруг только и твердили «Да тебе нечем заняться!», «Кроме тебя, это никому не нужно», «Это всё полный бред, брось это», «Не купишь ты, обязательно возьмет кто-то другой». Я считала, что всё это отговорки и настаивала на своём. Было много конфликтов, споров, но цель поставлена, а значит отступать нельзя. Поначалу была паника, я взялась за всё сразу: отказалась от пакетов, перестала покупать товары в пластиковой упаковке, дома выделила несколько вёдер под разный мусор и стала молча сортировать, но множество вопросов и неопытность очень мешали. Хотелось эмоциональной и физической поддержки, чтобы во всём как следует разобраться.
Итак, с чего же начать и где найти актуальную информацию?
Я взяла интервью у эко-блогера @chrisconnie из Ростовской области. Вот, что получилось выяснить в процессе нашей беседы:
— Как давно Вы пришли к образу Zero Waste?
— Активно свой путь «ноль отходов» я начала только в прошлом году.
— Что или кто Вас вдохновили?
— Я всегда любила природу и животных, ну, по крайней мере, мне так казалось до определённого момента. У меня была мечта — свой дом где-нибудь на окраине города, и она осуществилась. Только вот это полностью перевернуло мою жизнь, потому что ожидания разбились о реальность. Поначалу всё было очень даже романтично: мы лихо взялись за ремонт, за благоустройство участка, выгребали хлам и планировали будущие посадки. Как только энтузиазм немного поутих, я начала обследовать территорию, ездить на велосипеде, гулять с собаками в поле. Приятной новостью было то, что рядом с моим садоводческим товариществом находился Щепкинский лес, но как обнаружилось позже, рядом находился и бывший мусорный полигон «темерницкая балка». Первое столкновение с этим полигоном выбило почву из-под моих ног — каждая прогулка сопровождалась обнаружением новых и новых мусорных куч, которые появлялись среди поля, в карьере на границе леса. Собственно и то, что полигон бывший, не мешало людям кидать туда новый мусор. Как выглядит бывший полигон — это просто перекопанный экскаваторами участок земли с мешаниной из самого разного мусора, разного не только по происхождению, но и по классу опасности. Так эта встреча с обратной стороной города заставила меня поменять свои привычки. Буквально каждый раз, когда я выносила свой мусор и кидала его в жбан, становилось дурно, и я мучилась терзаниями совести. Ведь теперь-то в моей голове появилось осознание того, что мой мусор никуда не исчезает волшебным образом, он просто где-то лежит…

— Сложно ли было начинать? Хотелось ли всё бросить?
— Начинать да, было очень сложно. Сложнее всего было осознать, сколько мусора ты произвёл за свою жизнь. Ты за это в ответе!
Бросить — нет, не хотелось и не хочется, так как есть четкое понимание ради чего всё это я делаю — это важнее всех сложностей.
— Что изменилось с тех пор, как Вы пересмотрели свои привычки?
— Я стала такой счастливой! Теперь смотрю на свой дом и радуюсь, я избавилась от кучи ненужных вещей — это и одежда, и косметика, и бытовая химия и вещи, которые «обязательно когда-то пригодятся». Я стала избирательно относиться ко всему в своей жизни, будь то покупка еды, одежды. Я пересмотрела свою профессиональную деятельность, пересмотрела многие аспекты и мне стало так легко, как никогда. В моей жизни больше нет места одноразовым вещам и чужим одноразовым мыслям. Все действия, которые я совершаю , теперь идут из любви к себе, к природе и миру, это дало мне такую эмоциональную стабильность и уверенность, которой я никак не могла добиться раньше. Часть я слышу «тебе нечего делать» или «мне бы о себе позаботиться», но забота о природе, об экологическом состоянии окружающей среды — это и есть забота о себе в высшей степени. «Не сори там, где ешь», как говорится :)
— Как думаете, есть ли у России перспективы в глобальной сортировке мусора или наш менталитет не позволит этого?
— Думаю, перспективы есть, я в этом уверенна. Просто потому что иного пути нет, иначе мы все погрязнем в мусоре.
-Что можете посоветовать тем, кто хочет или только начал придерживаться образа жизни «ноль отходов»?
— Хочу дать дельный совет — не кидаться на всё сразу, а менять свой быт и привычки шаг за шагом, размеренно, без спешки и паники.
На данный момент возникает много сложностей: что разлагается, что лучше не покупать, что и куда выбрасывать, однако один российский иллюстратор @ecoasya своими яркими картинками старается внести ясность и ответить на все «Что?», «Где?», «Куда?». Самое главное, понять, ради чего всё это. Экология — это не только про чистый мир. Это воспитание, образ мышления и качество жизни, ведь каждый из нас любит, когда в городе чисто, но почему-то никто не поднимет бумажку/жвачку/бутылку, брошенные мимо урны. А всё от того, что фраза «за меня уберут» твёрдо засела в голове ещё с детства. Так воспитание каждую минуту убивает не только НАШ дом, но и нас. Подумайте, что мы оставляем будущим поколениям, ведь ни для кого не секрет, что климатические изменения напрямую связаны с деятельностью человека? От себя я советую посмотреть документальный фильм «Мусор» (2012), чтобы понять, что это всё не шутки. Решайте сами, остаться в этой глобальной проблеме в стороне или хотя бы начать с малого: вежливо отказаться от пакета на кассе. Я сделала свой выбор.
